| iScan is a division of Humanim,
Inc., which is a private
not-for-profit vocational and clinical rehabilitation company
located in Howard County, Maryland. Humanim was incorporated
as the Howard County Workshop in 1970, and offered vocational
rehabilitation services to adults with disabilities. Today
Humanim serves over 3,000 individuals every year. iScan was
created in 1983 to offer employment opportunities to the
individuals served by Humanim, while providing document conversion
services to local and state customers. iScan initially offered
microfilming and microfiche services to companies that wanted
to convert valuable paper documents to a reliable media while
saving space. |
